Hurry Up and Wait

Much stronger today, Dennis has been walking, and we spent some time in the family room. Getting some much needed rest, naps were in order several times during the day!

Today brought closure to many of the decisions regarding post-surgical care. Dennis is ready and waiting to go home! This day has seemed like a "hurry up and wait" day...so, we prayed for patience.

Dennis has experienced atrial fibrillation and a "pause" that a team conferred about around 11 pm this evening. We should know more about this tomorrow.

Reminded that rest and quiet are prerequisites for spiritual growth although foreign to our daily living, our devotion focused on John 15:5, "I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abide in Me, and I in him, he bears much fruit; for apart from Me you can do nothing."
